These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between you (“the client”) and Elizabeth Williams Photography (“I,” “me,” or “my”) when booking and receiving photography services. By scheduling a session, you agree to the terms below.

1. Booking & Payment

  • A session is considered booked once the agreed‑upon retainer or full payment is received.

  • Retainers are non‑refundable, as they reserve your session date and time.

  • Remaining balances (if applicable) are due by the session date unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • If you need to reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible. I will do my best to accommodate a new date.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session may result in forfeiting the retainer.

  • If I must cancel due to illness, weather, or an emergency, I will offer a rescheduled date or a full refund of any payments made.

3. Weather & Outdoor Sessions

For outdoor sessions, I may recommend rescheduling if lighting or weather conditions would significantly affect image quality. Final decisions are made with your best experience in mind.

4. Session Expectations

  • Please arrive on time and prepared. Late arrivals may shorten your session.

  • I will guide posing, location flow, and overall direction to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

  • Children and family sessions may require flexibility; I will work patiently to capture authentic moments.

5. Image Delivery

  • Final edited images will be delivered through an online gallery within the timeframe discussed at booking.

  • Raw, unedited files are not provided.

  • Galleries remain available for a limited time; please download your images promptly.

6. Editing & Retouching

  • All delivered images include my standard style with professional editing and retouching.

  • Additional retouching requests (such as extensive object removal or advanced skin editing) may incur an extra fee.

7. Copyright & Usage Rights

  • I retain the copyright to all images created during your session.

  • Clients receive personal-use rights, allowing you to download, print, and share your images for personal purposes.

  • Commercial use (business, advertising, resale, etc.) requires written permission and may involve licensing fees.

8. Model Release (Optional)

  • With your permission, I may use images from your session for my portfolio, website, or social media.

  • You may decline this option at any time; your privacy is always respected.

9. Liability

  • I am not responsible for injuries, accidents, or property damage that occur during a session.

  • I am not liable for circumstances beyond my control, including weather, location restrictions, or equipment failure.

  • If a technical issue prevents delivery of images, you will receive a full refund.

10. Agreement

By booking a session with Elizabeth Williams Photography, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
